Please use our helpful chart below to determine sizes. Keep in mind, different designer sizes vary slightly from those shown. DO NOT measure yourself, have someone else do this for accuracy:
Bra Size
STEP 1 : While wearing a comfortable bra, use a cloth measuring tape directly under the but to note the measurement. Add 5 inches to that measurement. This dimension is your bra size (If the bra size works out to an ODD number go up one inch to the next EVEN number.)
STEP 2 : Measure around the chest at the fullest part of the bustline. The measuring tape should be held horizontal, and your arms should be down. Make a note of that measurement and compare it to the Bra Size.
Cup Size
To determine the proper Cup Size, find the difference between step 2 and step 1.
Waist Size:
Your waist size should be measured at your waistline.
Hips: Your hip size should be measured at the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8" to 9" below your waistline (Petites, 7").
Other things you should know...
Any gown that is TOO LONG may easily be hemmed by your local seamstress. Most dresses need some type of alterations made. It's easier to make a bigger dress smaller than a small dress larger as a rule.
