Formal Attire Daytime Weddings:
Bride:
Long white, off-white or cream color (brides choice) gown with train, veil, matching shoes (fabric of gown and shoes match), gloves optional
Groom:
Cutaway coat, striped trousers, pearl gray waistcoat, white stiff shirt, turndown collar, gray-and-black-striped four-in-hand or ascot, gray gloves, black silk socks, black kid shoes
Bride’s Attendants:
Dresses are either long or designed according to the current style, usually long dresses with matching shoes, gloves optional (bride decides)
Groom’s Attendants:
Cutaway coat, striped trousers, pearl gray waistcoat, white stiff shirt, turndown collar, gray-and-black-striped four-in-hand or ascot, gray gloves, black silk socks, black kid shoes
Mothers:
The mothers' dresses should complement each other. Long or short dresses, hat, veil, or hair ornaments, gloves are optional. Have mothers discuss preferable color options to wear to harmonize with the wedding party and each other.
Fathers:
Cutaway coat, striped trousers, pearl gray waistcoat, white stiff shirt, turndown collar, gray-and-black-striped four-in-hand or ascot, gray gloves, black silk socks, black kid shoes. If he chooses not to wear the above and does not wish to participate in the ceremony, he may wear the same attire as the men guests.

Street-length cocktail or afternoon dresses, colors are preferable to black or white, hats and gloves are optional
