Wedding Vendors

Finding good wedding vendors and businesses can be quite a task. Ordering the products, favors, flowers, catering, wine and cake will need great organizational skills on your part. And what about attire, the function center, restaurant, hall, photographer, or videographer? Here you will find an extensive resource to make this task that much easier. Use our comprehensive vendor directory (link above) or even try the search box to find vendors.

When hiring a vendor, be sure to interview at least two per type of vendor (i.e. look at two different photographers as each style may differ).  Upon sending in your deposit, be sure to clarify exact details and your expectations.  Any questions on services, do not hesitate to ask at this time.

Be sure to get a contract from each vendor showing exact dates, times and locations as well as the deposit paid and balance due.  Discuss with the vendor when the balance owing is expected.  Feel free to discuss and note on the contract what type of attire you expect your vendors to wear.  Make sure that you read and understand the fine print on each contract (cancellation policies and fees vary with each vendor).  Be sure to keep a record off all payment receipts in a folder for easy access.  Tip:  It is best to send a small payment every month to each vendor to avoid a large pay out close to your wedding date.  Keep track of all payments made, who it was paid to, how the payment was made, the amount of payment and the date it was paid.

Try to negotiate the best deal for goods and services, but do not sell yourself short just to get a better price, the old adage “you get what you pay for” rings true.  Shop around and interview plenty of vendors before making your final decision.

You will need to keep track of the many vendors that will be involved in your wedding. Details such as e-mail addresses, quotes, dress sizes, vendor notes, referral names, attire details, dates, and so much more. 2become1weddings provides you with a few ideas on how to keep all of this well organized.

An organizer will enable you to view phone numbers, account balances, dates, times, and contract requirements of all your vendors, at a glance! This saves you from having to carry stacks of paper around, and also allows you to keep your receipts and contracts in a safe place while still having vital details on hand!

Our Vendor Yellow Pages lists the services of professional wedding vendors that can help you personally to plan your wedding. They are trusted experts in their field of business.
