Description:
Bluebell -
The flower is blue and bell shaped. Other names by which the bluebell is known are Calverkeys, Culverkeys, Auld Man's Bell, Ring-o'-Bells, Jacinth, Wood Bells, Agraphis nutans, Wild Hyacinth.
Also: Scilla nutans. Each flower has two small bracts at the base of the short flower-stalk. The perianth is bluish-purple and composed of six leaflets.
Also Texas Bluebells: Beautiful wildflower grows in across most of Texas, some of the surrounding states, and into Mexico.
Also California Bluebell: A hardy annual native to the western United States. Stunning deep blue, bellshaped flowers, highlighted by long golden stamens. Leaves are heartshaped, covered with soft white hairs closely resembling an African Violet.
