Trent and I met in Fall 2003. I was attending a Junior Church service at the church
we both attend now. I saw him and then I didn't. He never caught my attention like
that. Then one night after church his niece's approach my car to let me know that
they uncle liked me. I smiled and was like oh really,but I knew that I was not
interested. I had just came out of a painful relationship and I was not ready to be
involved with anyone at that moment. When I pulled off I told my mom that they
must be crazy I don't want him. We laugh and said no more. I went to bed that
night and God spoke to me saying I thought you asked me to give you what you
need not what you want. I had to remember that after that last relationship that I
did ask him to give me what I NEED not what I WANT. I never thought that he
would be the one, but God had another plan.


I was sitting in church and I saw Tish walk into the Junior Church service. I
knew that she was the one, but I was too scared to approach her so my niece's
told me that they wanted me to meet her and they introduced us. I let a couple of
months go by before I actually told her how I felt and we started talking and
we've been together every since.
