I had woken up late this Saturday morning and there was nobody at my home. Alex called and said he was on his way to come see me. I got up and around by the time Alex showed up and we headed to the Citadel Mall. Here we looked at the puppies in the pet store and then we went over to Kay Jewelers to look at engagement rings. After a little while Alex said he had wanted to go home (my parents) and go look at the clouds as we watch them from the trampoline. We got to the house and Alex told me to go inside and get some blankets for us and that he would meet me in the back soon he just had to get his gloves out of the trunk. I laughed and asked why he needed gloves and he said his hands were cold, I said I'll have blankets, but still he insisted. So I went inside got the blankets and was waiting on the trampoline when Alex came around from the front with his glovs on and his coat on backwards. As he jumped on the trampoline a large box feel from between him and the coat. He said it was my belated German Christmas gift. It had holes in it and had a note saying it was a live animal. I opened the big box, then got to a smaller package and unwrapped that one. It was the kitten from Shrek II with the big eyes. He was holding a note which said for me to go to Alex's car. So with much hesistation on my part we finally made it to the car. At the kitten's feet was another box, (hint the hesistation was knowing what would come next) which I could now open. Under three layers of wrapping another box or two and there sat a ring box in my hand. Alex took that little white box from my hands and knelt down by his car. I started to cry as he started to speak. He said, "Trisha one year and some odd months ago right here I had asked you if you'd go out with me, (waiting to see if I was going to stop crying, realizing he will just have to go on) so if you feel like answering another question I have one for you..(waiting for me to stop, forced to move on) Trisha will you marry me? Crying harder I hugged him and whispered yes into his ear
