November 2,2004 I walked into mine and my girlfriends favorite getaway place after a hectic day at the office to have a couple of drinks with my friends. As I walked in there was a man coming down the stairs and I remember his eyes and saying to myself what georgeous eyes he had. I immediately smiled at him. As my girlfriend an I sat at a table away from the dance floor, he came back to where he was sitting. It happen to be right behind me! As the evening went on we started talking.He bought me a drink and I (not shy at all) asked him to dance. The first song we dance to was Neon Moon , which happens to be his favorite! I was off the next day so I enjoyed a few drinks. As we continued to talk, I offered to show him around Oklahoma City, since he was thinking about moving there. I gave him my phone number and told him to call me the next day and we could get together. At that time my girlfriend an I decided we better get on home. As I was leaving he walked me to the door and I just turned around and kissed him! I had never done that before,( but glad I did!!) I thought wow what an incredible kisser he is. I went to pull away and he pull me back to him and he kissed me! After I left I couln't stop thinking about him. A few days went by and I never heard from him. I was taking my mom to see Bette Midler that Friday and after the show we decided to go back to place I had met him, from a few days earlier and remember telling my mom how he had't called me. I told her maybe he got my phone number wrong. Well wouldn't you know as we walk into "Sherlock's" (the place we had met a few days earlier) the bartender gave me a note, he said this guy was up there the night after we had met and waited for me to possibly come by. The bartender said he waited all night and I didn't show. He at that time decided to pay the bartender a nice tip to give me this note he wrote. I was right as I had just told my mother maybe he put my phone number in his cell wrong. I immediately opened the note and that's exactly what it said. So that night when I got home, I called him. He was so excited! I told him I couldn't stop thinking about him. We talked for hours. He said he would be back to Oklahoma City in a couple of weeks. We talked on the phone everyday, several times a day until he came back. On November 22,2005, we met again and have been together ever since! The funny thing about that night we met ,is that he accidently came in there that night, he was actually going somewhere else but the cab driver told him he ought to check it out, so he did. Thank you Mr. Cab Driver! We have now been together for 2 1/2 years now and are planning to marry in Las Vegas on Jult 7,2007.
